FAQs
General Info
What is Space Funded?
Space Funded is a proprietary trading firm that gives skilled traders access to capital and a clear path to scale their performance. Whether you’re experienced or just starting, our goal is simple: help you grow without pressure.
We offer evaluations with fair rules, generous profit splits, and up to $1,000,000 in scalable funding. No time limits, no unnecessary restrictions—just a clean environment focused on real trading.
At Space Funded, we’ve built a flexible ecosystem that puts the trader first, with smart tools, transparent metrics, and full control over your journey.
What is the maximum capital allocation?
Traders can manage up to $1,000,000 across active funded accounts. While the capital itself does not increase, consistent performance may unlock advanced benefits through our 20% Milestone Scale Up model—including salary rewards, increased profit split, and access to simulated asset management opportunities.
What evaluation models are available?
We offer multiple evaluation models to fit different trading styles and experience levels. Each includes a refundable fee after your third payout and starts with an 80% profit split.
All accounts use raw spreads and replicate professional trading conditions with a commission of $3.5 per side, ensuring a realistic and competitive trading environment.
Add-ons can be selected at checkout:
– 90% Profit Split from the Start → +20% of account cost
– 7-Day Payouts → +15% of account cost
– Combo (90% Split + 7-Day Payouts) → +30% of account cost
Is there a time limit to pass the evaluation?
There are no time limits for most accounts, giving you complete freedom to trade at your pace. The only exception are the Flash accounts, which must be completed within the specific calendar days.
What platform do you offer?
All Space Funded accounts are available exclusively on Platform 5, a robust and widely used platform that offers fast execution and professional tools for all types of traders.
How often can I withdraw profits?
Your first payout becomes available 30 days after activating your funded account. After that, you can request withdrawals every 14 days. The Flash account allows the first payout after 14 days.
Is the evaluation fee refundable?
Yes. The evaluation fee is refundable after you pass the evaluation and begin withdrawing profits. This refund is processed automatically with one of your payouts, once eligibility is met.
How does the scaling plan work?
Space Funded does not increase account capital beyond $1,000,000 per trader. Instead, we offer a 20% Milestone Scale Up model: if you reach 20% profit without any breaches, you may qualify for exclusive benefits such as a monthly salary (1% of account size), priority support, office visits, live liquidity access, and a 90% profit split. Eligibility is reviewed case by case and depends on performance, consistency, and geographical location.
What happens if my payout is denied?
If your payout is denied due to repeated rule violations or soft breaches, and no valid profit remains after deductions, the account will be reset and the evaluation considered failed.
Are the trading conditions real?
All accounts operate in a simulated environment but closely mirror real market conditions. You’ll experience real-time pricing, execution speed, raw spreads, and slippage, ensuring a realistic and professional trading experience.
Can I merge accounts?
Yes. You may merge multiple accounts, but only if they are of the same type and follow identical rules. Different models or evaluation types cannot be merged.
How long does it take to receive my funded account after passing?
Once you complete your evaluation successfully, our team will review your results. Funded credentials are typically issued within 1–2 business days along with the trader agreement and KYC process.
Do you accept traders from the USA?
No. Currently, Space Funded does not accept traffic or registrations from the United States.
Trading Rules
What trading practices are prohibited?
To maintain a fair and transparent trading environment, the following practices are strictly prohibited across all accounts.
Violations may result in payout rejection, profit forfeiture, account suspension, or permanent removal from the program. All accounts are reviewed at the time of payout.
Arbitrage: Exploiting pricing discrepancies, latency differences, or technical inefficiencies is not permitted. This includes latency arbitrage, reverse arbitrage, triangular arbitrage, cross-platform price exploitation, and execution delay manipulation.
High-Frequency Trading: Ultra-high-speed execution strategies designed to capture micro price movements within milliseconds are prohibited, including algorithmic strategies built for that purpose.
Tick Scalping: All positions must be held for a minimum of two minutes during the Funded phase. No minimum holding time applies during the Challenge, provided all other rules in this document are observed. Profits from trades closed in under two minutes during the Funded phase will be removed and may result in payout rejection. This applies to all trades regardless of how they are executed.
News Bracketing: Placing simultaneous buy and sell pending orders around major economic events to capture volatility is prohibited. Directional discretionary news trading is permitted. Structured straddle strategies are not.
Martingale and Grid Trading: Progressively increasing position size after a loss to recover previous losses is not permitted. Placing layered orders at fixed price intervals without directional bias is also prohibited.
Excessive Risk and Drawdown Recovery: Opening additional positions on the same asset while already in drawdown for the purpose of recovering losses is not permitted, whether within a single account or across multiple accounts. Risk must remain consistent and within program limits at all times.
Hedge Trading: Simultaneously opening opposing positions on the same instrument to exploit pricing inefficiencies is prohibited. This includes hedging across multiple accounts.
Risking the Full Daily Loss Limit: Deliberately risking the entire daily loss allowance on a single trade or series of layered trades is not permitted. Structured attempts to reach maximum loss limits intentionally may result in immediate account termination.
Mirror, Copy, and Coordinated Trading: Each account must be traded independently by the registered trader. Signal sharing, mirrored trading, copy trading software, and coordinated execution between individuals or accounts are strictly prohibited.
Expert Advisors and Automation: The use of EAs and automated tools is permitted provided they comply with all rules in this document. Commercial EAs, copy signals, and group-managed strategies are not allowed. All trading decisions must be based on your own independent analysis. EAs that perform tick scalping, HFT, copy trading, martingale, grid strategies, news bracketing, or any other prohibited practice are not allowed regardless of how they are labelled or configured. The minimum position holding time of two minutes during the Funded phase applies to all trades, including those executed by EA. The registered trader is fully responsible for all automated activity on their account.
Trading Without Stop Loss: All positions during the Funded phase must have a stop loss placed before they are closed. This is not a hard breach, but any profits generated from positions closed without a stop loss will not be counted towards your balance. Losses from positions closed without a stop loss will stand. This rule does not apply during the Challenge phase.
Toxic Trading Behaviour: Trading without defined risk management, operating with consistently negative risk-to-reward ratios, or any approach considered structurally reckless by the review team is subject to enforcement action. If negative risk-to-reward exceeds 60%, this may result in payout rejection and account breach. Positive PnL from toxic trading below that threshold may result in a deduction to your payout share.
Exploiting System Errors: Profiting from technical issues, pricing errors, feed delays, or platform malfunctions is strictly prohibited. Any profits generated under these circumstances will be removed.
Account Sharing and Reselling: Accounts may not be sold, shared, transferred, or managed by third parties. Only the registered trader may access and operate the account.
Gambling Behaviour, All-In Strategies and Speculative Exposure: Any approach that prioritises recovery, random directional bets, maximum exposure, or consistently unbalanced directional trading without structured risk management is considered gambling behaviour and is not permitted. All trading must be based on a defined strategy with controlled risk.
All traders agree to abide by these rules as a condition of participation. Failure to comply may result in enforcement action without prior notice.
How does the Consistency Score work?
The Consistency Score ensures that traders demonstrate sustainable growth during the Funded phase. This rule does not apply during the evaluation period.
Once funded, your highest profit day must not exceed a set percentage of your total profits.
Flash accounts: your largest profit day cannot exceed 25% of your total profits.
Instant Funding accounts: your largest profit day cannot exceed 20% of your total profits.
For example, on a Flash account with $10,000 in total profit, your largest profit day cannot exceed $2,000. On an Instant Funding account with the same total, the limit would be $1,800.
If your highest profit day exceeds the applicable threshold, you must continue trading until your results are more balanced. This is not a breach but must be satisfied before requesting a payout.
What is a soft breach vs a hard breach?
Soft Breach:
A soft breach occurs when you violate specific trading conduct rules, such as trading during restricted news periods, using prohibited strategies, or failing to meet the Consistency Score requirement. Consequences may include:
– Closure of trades
– Removal of profits (if applicable)
– 50% reduction in your next payout (funded accounts only)
– Permanent account closure after repeated violations
Hard Breach:
A hard breach occurs when you surpass your allowed daily or total drawdown. This results in:
– Immediate and permanent account termination
– Loss of access to the current evaluation
– Ineligibility for further progression or payout on that account
This breach system is designed to uphold trading discipline while allowing minor infractions to be corrected without severe penalties—unless they become habitual.
Can I use a VPN or VPS?
Yes, VPNs and VPS are allowed. However, they must not be used to bypass security restrictions or enable copy trading, signal mirroring, or unauthorized account sharing.
Can I hold trades over the weekend?
Yes, all accounts except Instant Funding can hold trades over the weekend. Instant Funding accounts require all positions to be closed by 3:45 PM EST on Friday. Failure to comply will result in trade closure and potential breach.
Can I trade during news events?
News trading is allowed during evaluations, but restricted on funded accounts. On funded accounts, opening, closing, or modifying orders (including SL/TP) is not permitted within 5 minutes before or after high-impact news events. FOMC-related events are strictly prohibited.
We use the Forex Factory calendar (https://www.forexfactory.com) as reference for high-impact news events. Any profits obtained from trades executed in violation of these rules may be removed.
